We pride ourselves in providing a very tailored and personal service and believe the quality of our key people really sets us apart.
Here’s the core team:
Jim served many years in the retail and leisure sectors, where he developed a no-compromise approach to excellence in customer service.
A radical change in career path took him into the stone industry, where he gained a wealth of experience with local masonry companies, and he has never looked back. He set up Sandridge Stone in 2012.
He personally oversees every project from start to finish and is the key point of contact for customers, designers, architects and other contractors.
Since completing his apprenticeship with Sandridge Stone many years ago, Jonny has grown become a highly accomplished stonemason.
His sharp eye for detail and pursuit of perfection means that he is able to oversee the highest standards of workmanship in both our banker shop and site fixing masonry.
Working with stone is more than just his job though – it’s a hobby too, and he spends lots of his spare time carving intricate pieces for the sheer enjoyment of it.
Mark joined Sandridge Stone after an early career in the public sector and quickly developed a love and aptitude for working with natural stone.
He is responsible for selecting the best quality, rough quarry blocks of Bath Stone and turning them into the neat, square-sided stones that we use to carve into finished architectural stone pieces and our beautiful fireplaces.
Working on site as a fixer mason to restore historic buildings has also become of his great passions, with some prestigious, listed buildings projects under his belt.
Karen worked in the dental industry for decades before joining husband Jim at Sandridge Stone as the business grew.
As the first point of contact for customers she ensures that enquiries are dealt with quickly and that our communication with clients and others is always timely and efficient.
She also oversees all our accounts, procurement and payroll activities.
